How did you both meet?
We met at a physio workshop when Judy was pregnant with Antonia and I had just had Sadie who was six weeks old. We got chatting and clicked straight away so swapped contact details and started meeting up for walks, cups of tea, and a chat. After Antonia was born we met up even more regularly and our girls have become the best of buddies too!
When did your passion for food and cooking start?
I've always enjoyed cooking and have always eaten well but a real turning point was after my mum was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. Choosing not to have conventional treatment Mum began exploring the true superpowers of food, cutting out everything refined and eating clean. Mum came from Scotland to stay with us in Perth for three months shortly after her diagnosis so we all got on board. That was the real start of my nutrition journey.
What has been the biggest life session you have learnt so far?
This is a tricky question. I guess I would say it's the little things in life that really matter (rather than the big wins and accomplishments) such as special times with your children, a cuddle with your hubby, or a quiet walk along the beach. Life can change in an instant and it's so important to appreciate all these things in the moment.
What do you believe your secret to success is, in blanking your many passions and pursuits?
When you love what you are doing and there's a drive that stems from the heart, you find the time, no matter how busy life gets. I am lucky enough to have a very supportive husband, who always encourages me to really go for it, and very supportive family and friends who are happy to lend a hand when needed.
What advice would you give to other women out there who want to write a book but don’t know where to start?
Determination and perseverance are key! Just give it a go and see where the journey takes you. Hopefully in and amongst all the hard work there will be lots of fun to be had too!

How did you both meet?
Ha, this is a good one: We sat next to each other in a course on pelvic floor exercise for pregnancy, birth and beyond and it was a little bit magical because we instantly clicked and became such great friends.
When did your passion for food and cooking start?
My ancestors where all farmers going back generations so it’s in my genes to have healthy, seasonal food.
My interested in nutrition peaked in 2011 when I had fertility issues.
What has been the biggest life session you have learnt so far?
This is a really interesting question and I don’t have a clear answer but I can narrow it down:
1. You have to train yourself to have vision, courage and determination.
2. With change comes risk and opportunity.
3. Sometimes you just have to let go.
What do you believe your secret to success is, in blanking your many passions and pursuits?
It somehow all works if you love doing it. One thing at a time. Be present in what you do. Quality over quantity.
What advice would you give to other women out there who want to write a book but don’t know where to start?
It’s a step by step process like everything in life. You will have to work very hard and overcome a lot of obstacles. Just keep going. You can do it!
